The Afterschool Alliance, in partnership with the STEM Funders Network (SFN) and the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), is excited to announce a call for proposals for a national AmeriCorps STEM Ecosystems VISTA program. Ecosystems in all cohorts are eligible to apply to host up to two AmeriCorps VISTA members. There are currently 10 open VISTA slots, which will be filled on a first come, first served basis. The VISTAs will focus on building capacity to increase access to STEM education.
Ecosystems must demonstrate they are serving a high poverty community to be eligible to host a VISTA member.

Applications are due to Alexis Steines at Afterschool Alliance by Friday, November 15, 2019. Additionally, Alexis is available to talk with any interested Ecosystem to answer questions and assist with the process.
