New Jersey STEM Pathways Network selected South Jersey as one of four communities to participate in a statewide campaign to reimagine STEM learning and prepare New Jersey’s future workforce for STEM fields. From this initiative, the South Jersey STEM & Innovation Partnership arose. The South Jersey STEM & Innovation Partnership (SJSIP) is a collective effort to improve STEM education and opportunity across southern New Jersey. The founding partners include the Camden Dream Center, Camden County College and Salem Community College. A growing list of key expert collaborators – representing industry, post-secondary education, K-12 schools, philanthropy, small businesses and STEM-related organizations – will be engaged. The Partnership’s goal is to grow and align assets and efforts to develop, implement, replicate and take to scale evidence-based innovations that will better prepare all learners within the region for the 21st Century’s rapidly evolving STEM economy.
