Bay Area STEM Ecosystem

The Bay Area STEM Ecosystem focuses on increasing equity and access to high-quality STEM experiences for all young people in South San Francisco so as to ensure that youth have the background needed to enter the 21st century workforce. The Bay Area Ecosystem supports cross sector collaborations between informal STEM organizations, city agencies, school districts, community based organizations, and industry. Our steering partners include: California Academy of Sciences, Broadcom Foundation, Genentech, and City of South San Francisco Community Learning Center. As our Ecosystem grows and develops, we plan on expanding the reach of this work to surrounding Bay Area communities. For more information please contact Laura Herszenhorn.
