Kansas City is currently convening a youth transportation workgroup. We know that there are many STEM education opportunities in the out-of-school time in which our urban core students cannot take advantage due to lack of transportation.
We are currently building the case by surveying programs and students to develop compelling stories about the economic disadvantage this places on our students.
