Greetings! Volunteers are needed for the Regional Autonomous Robotics Circuit (RARC) of Northwest Louisiana! Please help us spread the word about this fun and rewarding service opportunity.
Our second RARC competition will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Bossier Civic Center (620 Benton Road, Bossier City, LA 71111). Our theme this year is Small Wonders, Big Possibilities. The students (grades 3-12) will explore concepts like chemistry, biology, nanotechnology, and, of course, robotics while participating in challenges on a competition mat designed to look like a laboratory.
We need an army of energetic volunteers to help make our competitions organized and fun for the estimated 1,000 participating students. No previous robotics experience is needed! There are many roles available, and instruction will be provided.
Volunteers can sign up at http://nicerc.org/rarc/
northwestla/volunteer/. Please forward this email to anyone who may also be interested and please share or post the attached RARC volunteer flyer (look in the Google Drive under “Portfolio of Projects”). Please contact me with any questions. Thanks for your support of RARC!
