Is anyone aware of published articles that support the idea that CS/coding might boost math and science proficiency? The North Louisiana STEM Alliance is considering whether to adopt a CS/coding project for middle school students.
I found an informative article in a search for research on computer science and math scores. The link to the article is here: https://www.boston.com/culture/health/2013/12/12/will-teaching-kids-to-code-boost-math-sat-scores
Within the article, a program called “Bootstrap” was described, and data that supports this idea is here: http://www.bootstrapworld.org/impact/
