Calling all Early STEM lovers! If you would like to collaborate with me and Phil (VC STEM) on an Early STEM focused E2E please see below and reach out.

Idea: Create a real time KWL (Know – Want to Know – Learn) experience using NGSS  topics and state early learning standards with a focus on developing integrated PK – grade 2 learning progression. What would it look like for children ages 3 – 7 years to be engaged in learning about force and interaction? What are the skills and knowledge needed? What strategies can teachers engage in to support each age group? What are the natural phenomena or design problems that can be identified to support investigations? And this is only the beginning…

Symbiosis in Vancouver BC Canada does some great STEM things with pre-school age children and would be happy to co-present. I guess a phone conversation to learn more about the topic and an overview of what we do would be the proper next step?

    Hi Jo-Ann

So nice to meet you. I would love to chat about a co-presentation. I apologize for not getting back to you sooner. I will be developing the E2E over the weekend and would be happy to send for ideas and input. We can submit a strawman E2E and let Veronica know we are building one with more depth. If you see this please feel free to email me directly at rbynder@vcoe.org  and we can set up a call.
