Hi All –
I recently read the following report and blog regarding STEM learning environments put out by The Frameworks Institute and Joan Ganz Cooney Center. I am offering these as possible springboards into discussion about where we are headed in terms of “bridging” those learning environments; fostering open dialogue across multiple environments that would enable continuous STEM learning and guide the creation and adoption of an overarching frame for the conversation.

Thank you, Regan, for sharing these rich resources to help frame our conversations leading up to and at the upcoming fall convening. I’m looking forward to learning more, particularly as a STEM advocate and mommy to a 2-year-old that memorizes places and phrases and dinosaur names!
In doing my own customer discovery around early learning and STEM, one gold piece of advice I got from a teacher was including stronger ties of STEM learning to career pathways by providing pictures and visuals of STEM-related jobs to young learners.
