Dear Colleagues:
Our founding business partner, Procter & Gamble (P&G), is seeking your quick input on who you see as “best in class” companies/enterprises driving STEM at a local, regional, and national levels.
Uday Sheth from P&G has enlisted a small “landscape” study with one of P&G’s external vendors to look at this question, to help benchmark P&G’s own efforts in STEM. He is trying to get a sense of his peer companies (consumer goods) as well as broader industries like food, automotive, petrochemical, “tech”, etc. He’s interested in strategies, action plans, external communications, spending, etc. in the area of improving STEM engagement & proficiency amongst kids and young adults.
Uday wants to make sure we’re including “the best” in this landscape, which is where we need your help. He’s created a list of companies to be studied (GE, Intel, Dow, etc.) but would love to hear who you think is best so we make sure to include them. Please let him know why you think they’re strong, and if you have any specific data/evidence or contact names, that would be helpful. His contact information is below.
If you could get back to Uday in the next week or two we’d appreciate it. We look forward to hearing from you, and meanwhile wish you all a happy holiday season.
Thank you in advance,
Mary Adams
on behalf of Uday Sheth and the Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative (GCSC)
